This means that you don't have the
Ioncube Loader installed, and it hasn't gotten installed automatically.
to Correct this, you'd need to edit
your php.ini file and insert this line
at the bottom.
zend_extension_ts=c:\www\webinvoice\ioncubeioncube_loader_win_5.2.dll
Then restart your apache WEB server.

It is 100% compatible with Windows, linux or FreeBSD, how
ever, as of now, you'd first need to install the setup file
in windows which will decompress all php files. Then copy
the entire directory or upload it to your linux box.
Additionally, There will be a Linux compressed tar.gz
Version available sometime next month.

did the last answer help you? would you like a more in depth explanation?
Basically, as long as the user who created the service request has a customer id associated with his/her user account, then you'd be able to convert that service request into an Invoice. You can always edit the service request and create a new customer by pulling his user data into the customer directory, if that user isn't currently a customer.

you'll need to download the ioncube loader for MAC, ioncube_loader_dar_5.2.so from either http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php
or from our web Site at http://mtechdigital.com/downloads/ioncube_loader_dar_5.2.so
, once downloaded, you'll need to add this line to the top of your php.ini file,
zend_extension_ts=ioncube_loader_dar_5.2.so
or similar depending on the path of your .so file

also, you must restart apache after installing the loader

Basically, in order to install on linux, go to Demo & Downloads, fill out your info, and download the script version.
This will be a zip file containing all files and directory structures.
Upload the file to your linux server in Binary mode if doing so by FTP, and unpack it there.
then edit the file called sqlserver.php which is in the settings directory, and change the settings for the MYSQL server and the username, password and name of Database which you have created.
if you have not created a database or installed mysql, you can do it after.
if you cant unpack the zip file on linux, then unpack it in windows, edit the sqlserver.php file and upload all files and directories in Binary mode to your server.

You can customize the email by editing a file called invoice-body.txt which is located in the settings directory.
In general, there are lots of other customization options which are usually located in the settings directory.

What needs to be done is, you have to do a chmod -R 775 or 777 on the directory of webinvoice or which ever directory you have Web Invoice installed in.
What's happening is, the html to pdf converter saves a temp file within the webinvoice directory, so that directory needs to be fully writeable by the system or the user which apache is running under.

You might also want to do a chmod 777 on the file which is the directory of h2p just to make sure and maybe that directory itself, just incase it still isn't fully accessable.

Yes, You can easily change the way the Invoice itself Looks by editing the file called invoiceface.txt within the settings directory.
Find where it says "$ioe1 #" and add TAX before "$ioe".
This will always add on the word TAX on Every Invoice, including Estimates.
If you only want TAX to be seen on Invoices and not Estimates, then you'll need to add some php code which will have to check whether or not ($ioe == 'Invoice').
for example:
if ($ioe == 'Invoice') {$ioe1 ="TAX $ioe1";}

Place this line of code above, right below where it says < ? php , save the file, upload it to your server again, or in the case of the Windows version, just save it, and try viewing an Invoice again.
It should work.

General NOTICE:
If Web Invoice is installed in a Windows environment using the script Install for linux, These are Things to look out for.
-Make sure to download the correct ioncube decode from ioncube.com
-Make sure to install PHP vc6, not vc9 because of incompatibility with Ioncube
-If getting a blank white screen, make sure MySQL Is installed correctly and configure the file called sqlserver.php within the settings directory in Web Invoice to connect to the MySQL Server correctly or else it may hang for 30 seconds before giving a white screen.

This will allow PDF documents to be created within windows instead of a linux environment

How do I change the listening port in Web Invoice for Windows?

In order to change the port for the Windows Version of Web Invoice from the default port 80 to port 8081, Please do the following 2 steps:

STEP 1:
Go to start -> programs -> Web Invoice, right click and edit the file called start & run Web Invoice,
find this line:
netstat -anp tcp | FIND /I "0.0.0.0:80" >NUL
and change to
netstat -anp tcp | FIND /I "0.0.0.0:8081" >NUL assuming you want to change to port 8081

Then find this line:
echo Port 80 is free - OK to run server
and change it to:
echo Port 8081 is free - OK to run server

Then find this line:
start http://127.0.0.1
and change to:
start http://127.0.0.1:8081
there will be another one just like this at the bottom.

exit and save the file.

Step 2:
start -> run C:\www\WebInvoice\udrive\usr\local\apache2\conf
and edit the file called httpd.conf

find these 2 lines:
Listen 80
ServerName localhost:80

and change to:
Listen 8081
ServerName localhost:8081

then exit and save the file.
Now go to start -> programs -> Web Invoice, and click stop Web Invoice, then start it once again.
It should now be configured to use port 8081 instead of port 80.

Hi Bill In Web Invoice 8.5 all you'll need to do id configure Crdit card suppor or PayPal support in the integration page within optoins -> integration -< credit card processing

Also, make sure to enable Credit Card Processing within options -> Edit my and company data.

Hi, Make sure you use the correct ioncube loader, which can be found in the ioncube website.
Web Invoice script version comes packaged with the 32-bit loader for linux, and the exe version comes with the 32-bit version for windows.
It looks like you're trying to use the Linux version in your php.ini file but Mac version in the ioncube directory, which is the "dar" version.
You can only do one or the other depending on which OS you are using.

If you now have that sorted out,
You probably uploaded the files to yourserver in Ascii mode.
Please upload them to your server In Binary mode.

In order to customize the Invoice or any number of things including Auto Email responders and SMS messages, navigate the the webvinoice directory and then the settings directory within it.
you'll see many text and php files which can be edited to your liking.
In order to specifically modify the date format of the invoice itself to dd-mm-yyyy, edit the file called invoiceface.txt


Scroll down a bit till you see the ?> sign, but not after.
Make sure not to go down to where it says html

Insert these lines of code:
$_date = explode("-", $_date);
$_date="$_date[1]-$_date[0]-$_date[2]";

- Exit and Save.


If you'd like the Months to show up in Word format rather than numbers,
Insert these lines of code instead.

If you purchase the $199 Package, and later decide to upgrade, just add the difference between the 2 packages and that's all you'd have to pay.
So, upgrading from the $199 package to the $399 package will only cost $200 if you can confirm your Customer ID and other Info.

Yes, SSL is supported, but as of now, the auto email back feature for service requests does not work under SSL, other than that everything else is supported.

Regarding Time Tracking, when you click on "edit service completed", you'll get a popup window allowing you to add more work to the invoice as well as Add hours spent.
At this point, you'll have the option to assign hours spent per day, which will be added up to the total hours spent of the whole invoice.
There isn't an option to assign exact time in and time out, as it's up to you to define the amount of hours spent per day.

If you'd like to bill for expenses, there's an option to insert expenses, which you can use for mileage, when you click on edit data within the invoice.

(1)does your software provide for sms support.in other words-a payment on an invoice is notified to both the payer and the payee by sms and also an oustanding invoice yet to be paid is notified by sms to the debtor and the company.
(2)the bank statement support system is quite different from the credit card payment system on your software.it implies that a customer settles his invoice by paying into the suppliers bank account who in turn recives a payment notification from the bank that will confirm payment automatically.in other words the payment status is updated automatically not manually.

As of the latest release, the SMS feature isnt automated and there's no option to allow auto sending of an SMS after receiving payment from a customer.
However, this is definitely a possibility in the up coming version.
The reason behind not automating SMS or Email after a payment is made, is due to the fact that the credit card company will send both of you a confirmation of payment anyway.
If this is a feature you'd like to have, please email us and request this feature so we can process it.

Regarding Payment from a customer and Bank Statements.
After a customer makes a payment via CC or PayPal, it will be as if you inserted the payment manually.
Meaning, all areas of Web Invoice will reflect the fact that a payment has been inserted, and the invoice will show that a payment has been made, and this will also automatically be reflected within the BookKeeping Bank statement area into your main bank account.

Also, Keep in mind, the only way there will be auto insertion of funds into Web Invoice after settling the CC, is if The customer logs into Web Invoice and chooses to make a payment from within the End-User login.

how do I setu0p the paypal integration?

In Web Invoice 8.5 All you would need to do is go to options ->info and integration -> credit card processing. Fill in the API credentials of either your paypal account or Credit Card account, or both, and select if they will be enabled.

I have tried numerous configurations on a hotmail account and a gmail account for your outgoing server. But i can not send out a mass email as it tells me "the settings are incorrect"

As of now, the outgoing email server options in Web Invoice do not support email servers which use a SSL connection.
Gmail and Hotmail both use SSL smtp servers.
Try using the smtp server of your ISP or aby other which is not SSL encrypted.

We're sorry there isnt ssl support at this time, but there are many email servers out there that dont require ssl.
One option would be to use the smtp server that comes with your ISP,
another option would be to use your web domain email server, if you have a registered domain being hosted.
you can get it for as low as $35 a year.
Another option would be to use our subscription based hosting service which will host Web Invoice for you, and is free for a limited demo account.
The next level up is $5 per month.

Hi,
In order to give a credit, you can simply create a new invoice under this customer, make a payment towards it, which will automatically create a negative balance, and credit this customer for future invoices.

In order to give someone credit on an invoice that was already payed,
go to new invoice -> go to form type drop-down on the top right hand side, and choose Credit.
Then add the item you want to credit, or just add the item called credit and type in the amount to credit.
This will create a negative balance invoice, crediting the amount he paid, so the customer will now have a credit for a future purchase.

In order to integrate the shopping cart to your website, use the following URL linking from your website, assuming Web Invoice is located in /webinvoice.

PDF printing as of now is only one invoice at a time.
However, you can email multiple invoices in PDF.
